WWE News: This latest WWE news piece is regarding the company’s New year PPV event. During one of WWE Smackdown’s editions at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, Florida, in July, WWE announced that the company would be hosting a PPV on new year’s day, and now the name for the PPV event has been revealed.

WWE has previously hosted New Year-themed shows named New Year’s Revolution that have taken place in January, but this would be the first time they would be hosting a PPV event on New Year’s Day.-This PPV event will be followed by WWE Smackdown that would be aired live from Charlotte, North Carolina on New Year’s eve.
WWE News: Royal Rumble PPV reportedly pushed back
January is usually the time for WWE’s Royal Rumble PPV. Being among the fabulous four PPVs of the year, Royal Rumble always takes place in the month of January. However, with WWE DAY 1 now set to take place on new year’s day, WWE doesn’t want two PPVs in a month. Therefore, pushing Royal Rumble back is the only option left.
WWE News: Will other PPV events get affected?
Royal Rumble’s shift might result in the shift of other PPV events. Elimination Chamber in February takes place after Royal Rumble, but now it seems like we might see the Elimination Chamber PPV in March and Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas in April 2021.
