WWE News: There are rumors of Aleister Black possibly heading to AEW, but still there are constant talks in WWE to bring back the former NXT Champion. In the latest update of Aleister Black-WWE saga, the company doesn’t want Black to make his way to their rivals AEW. 

WWE News: WWE wants to keep Aleister away from AEW

According to a PWInsider report, there have been consistent talks about Black and the urge to bring him back. The top executives in the company are rethinking their decision of releasing Black and have admitted that letting him go was a premature decision. 

Black is currently serving the mandatory 90-day non-compete clause, along with Braun Strowman, Santana Garrett, Lana, Buddy Murphy, and Ruby Riott. All these superstars got released on June 2.

Recently, Samoa Joe got rehired by the company. The former United States Champion was among those superstars who got released in April after Wrestlemania 37. But the Samoan Submission machine was rehired by the company, and he showed up this past week on WWE NXT.

WWE might be thinking the same for Aleister Black, and maybe that is why they don’t want him to lose to AEW.

WWE News: Black returned to WWE Smackdown 5 days before his release!

After weeks of vignettes leading up to his comeback, Aleister Black finally made his much-awaited return on the 28 May episode of WWE Smackdown and cost Big E the Intercontinental title. 

PWI also reported that the interest of AEW having Aleister Black onboard has sparked WWE’s discussion of having him back in the company. As of now, Black can’t go to any televised promotion for 90 days, and WWE has these 90 days to rehire him. What fate awaits Aleister Black? Stay tuned for all the updates regarding this story.
