WWE NXT Next Week: Triple H announces Poppy’s return for next week

Music star Poppy will be returning on WWE NXT next week. She has been associated with WWE’s Black and Gold brand for some time, and her return will continue her affiliation with the company.

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has performed several times for WWE NXT. Her most recent performance for NXT came at April’s NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver, where she rocked the Capitol Wrestling center.

Poppy to return next week, but what role will she be doing?

Triple H himself announced the news of Poppy’s return. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote,

“You can hear her sound on each episode, and next week you can see her BACK @WWENXT on @USA_Network”

Here’s the post,

Responding to Triple H’s tweet, Poppy wrote, “Let’s go Mr. H”

Her return to WWE NXT next week is definitely some news. However, there’s no word yet on what WWE has planned for the singer. As of now, there are some speculations that just like Bad Bunny, Poppy will be pursuing a short-term in-ring career.

Candice LeRae not amused with poppy’s return

It seems like one-half of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae isn’t amused with Poppy’s return. In one of tonight’s backstage segment’s Candice Le Rae was seen ranting about why NXT keeps bringing Poppy back?

LeRae tweeted regarding Poppy’s return. She wrote,

“Uuuuugh! Are we STILL talking about @poppy coming to NXT next week? How about we talk about something that matters like…. I dunno…. the #WWENXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.”

Poppy was quick to respond to LeRae’s tweet. She wrote,

“see you real, real soon. #WWENXT”

Could we see a feud between Poppy and Candice LeRae?

The Twitter battle between the two ladies indicates a possible feud. It would be interesting to see if WWE takes this seriously and make way for Poppy’s possible in-ring debut like they did for Bad Bunny during the Wrestlemania 37 period.
