WWE NXT Takeover 36: Samoa Joe has resigned from the post of special enforcer to NXT General Manager William Regal. At WWE NXT Takeover 36, he will be taking on the NXT Champion Karrion Kross, who has provoked him big time.
Kross went too far last week when he attacked William Regal in the closing segment of WWE NXT. A week before, Kross attacked Samoa Joe and put him to sleep with his vicious sleeper hold. The actions have had severe repercussions, and the two colossal figures will be colliding at WWE NXT Takeover 36 with the coveted title on the line.
Karrion Kross has been on a rampage ever since he regained possession of the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover in May earlier this year. He defeated Finn Balor and started his second reign as the dominant NXT Champion. With what transpired between Joe and Kross in the past two weeks, nothing less than a grueling and intimidating battle is expected between the two warriors. Can Samoa Joe put a befitting end to Kross’ dominant title reign, or will Joe fall and pray? Find out the answer on Sunday, August 22, at NXT Takeover 36.
