WWE NXT Viewership: Samoa Joe’s return and LA Knight’s assault on Ted Dibiase helped the Black & Gold brand gain a slight increase in the viewership this week. As per the PWTorch, this Tuesday episode of WWE NXT saw 695,000 viewers. These numbers are slightly up from last week that saw 669,000 viewers.
WWE NXT Viewership: Samoa Joe’s return increased viewership
Samoa Joe’s return to the Black & Gold brand was rumored for a few weeks and his return this week accentuated the viewership ratings.
General manager William Regal’s addressing the crowd with a change was the highlight of the fallout show from Sunday’s NXT Takeover: In Your House. The “change” teaser first grabbed everyone’s eyeballs and curiosity, and later with the return of Samoa Joe, the viewership went up by 3.9% from last week’s Takeover go-home show.
However, the demographics remained the same. This week’s ratings were 0.19 in the key 18-49 demographic, the same as the last week. Below are the numbers from the past 5 weeks,
May 18 Episode: 700,000 viewers with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic
May 25 Episode: 698,000 viewers with 0.13 rating in 18-49 demographic
June 1 Episode: 668,000 viewers with 0.19 rating in 18-49 demographic
June 8 Episode: 669,000 viewers with 0.19 rating in 18-49 demographic
June 15 Episode: 695,000 viewers with 0.19 rating in 18-49 demographic (post-Takeover episode)
