WWE Raw: WCW legend and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg returned this past week on WWE Raw. His return shocked one and all at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, but many expected him to show up and confront the All-Mighty WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.

Upon his return, the Hall of Famer seemingly challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and many assume that he might face the champion at WWE Summerslam on August 21. There’s no doubt that this match has not got the storyline or feud it requires, and maybe that’s why the All-Mighty WWE Champion is not interested in facing the former Universal Champion at WWE Summerslam or anywhere.

WWE Raw: Bobby Lashley is not interested in facing Goldberg

As mentioned above, Lashley is not at all interested in defending his title against Goldberg. He took to Twitter and mentioned the same by sending a coarse message to the Hall of Famer. Here’s what he wrote,

“You don’t belong in the same world as me, let alone the same ring. Get that close again, @The305MVP won’t be able to hold me back.

No thanks, old man.”

WWE Raw: Goldberg means a boost in viewership

Despite fans not liking the fact that Goldberg is going to get a WWE Championship shot without earning it, WWE seemingly looks unfazed by the reaction of the WWE Universe. The company feels Goldberg is a crowd puller and will bring the audience and boost viewership on their platform.

WWE Raw: The match is almost certain for Summerslam

Despite the backlash from fans, WWE is almost certain to go ahead with Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg for the WWE Championship at WWE Summerslam on August 21. We might see some build-up from next week onwards on WWE Raw to make this storyline legitimate and booming.
