WWE Raw: Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal are involved in a heated rivalry on WWE Raw. Mahal has been pushing hard to take the feud with his former friend to a quintessential bout at WWE Summerslam. Recently, Jinder Mahal spoke to El Brunch de WWE, where he expressed his desire to face Drew McIntyre in a Punjabi Prison Match someday.

Jiner Mahal reflected on his showdown against Randy Orton in 2017 at the WWE Battleground PPV, where he had a match against the “Viper” inside the Punjabi prison & eventually, Great Khali made a surprise to help Mahal win the bout. Bringing light to the 2017 Punjabi prison match, Mahal revealed,
“So Great Khali actually designed the match. He was supposed to be in the first one, he was actually in the second one ever & then I was in the third one & it’s a very vicious, brutal match. The Punjabi Prison is… hopefully, I don’t have to do it too many times in my career because going into the Punjabi Prison, you know you are not gonna be the same person when you leave. That match takes everything out of you, and Great Khali is the creator of the match, and then when I was in the Punjabi Prison, Great Khali surprised everyone and made his return, so yeah, hopefully — you know what? I wouldn’t mind having Drew [McIntyre] in the Punjabi Prison.” (H/T POST Wrestling)
WWE Raw: Will Jinder Mahal vs. Drew McIntyre take place at WWE Summerslam?
WWE Summerslam is scheduled for August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Paradise, Nevada. With only three weeks remaining, the match card would be boiling up. In the course, expect Hinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre to have a showdown at the PPV event courtesy of the feud they are currently involved in.

Drew McIntyre has unleashed fury in the past two weeks. Following his nasty 34 chair shots on Rinku, the Scottish Warrior followed up with a beating to Veer, who was somehow helped out by Mahal otherwise something similar to what happened to Rinku a week before was expected from Drew. The intensity in this rivalry is on the money from Drew’s perspective, and we could see this match actually happen at WWE Summerslam.
