WWE Raw: WWE Raw superstar and the 14-time World Champion Randy Orton has been advertised for this week’s Monday Night Raw. It has been more than a month since we have seen the Apex Predator in the squared circle. His last appearance on the Red brand came on the 21st June episode when he lost the Money in the Bank qualifying match to John Morrison courtesy of an unwilling distraction from Riddle.
Since that episode, Randy has not been seen on WWE TV, but now, he is advertised for this Monday Night Raw that would be live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. With WWE Summerslam only three weeks away, the Apex Predator must show up and start a possible feud against the Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos.
WWE Raw: Randy Orton’s return could set the tone for the Raw Tag-Team Championship match at WWE Summerslam
Everyone knows how desperate Riddle is to get Randy Orton back on the Red brand. Riddle vs. Omos has been announced for this week on Raw, and the two men will square off to fuel up the feud against one another.
It is expected that Randy Orton would appear to save Riddle from the wrath of Omos, and that could set up a Raw Tag-Team title match between the two teams. Randy & Riddle is among the most unorthodox teams from recent times, but having them being involved in the Raw Tag-Team Title picture will do a world of good to Riddle’s budding career.
Also, with WWE Summerslam only three weeks away, Randy Orton has no opponent heading into the PPV.- This is something uncanny considering the amount of experience and star power Randy brings to the table. Therefore, Riddle & Randy against Omos & AJ Styles for the Raw Women’s Championship seems to be the apt match-up for WWE Summerslam.
