WWE Rumors Roundup: TLC build up, Drew McIntyre’s next opponent, Plan for Roman Reigns, updates on Seth Rollins and more – 26th November 2020

WWE: Now it is time for WWE Universe to get ready for WWE’s last event of the year at TLC 2020. WWE TLC will take place at 20 December, however, WWE has not announced anything for that. But we will make some predictions ahead of that. So for this week let us check out some of the top rumors post-show Survivor Series 2020.

5) The Plans For Roman Reigns At The Royal Rumble

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline says that WWE is still planning to do a match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan for the Universal Title. While saying that, it sounds like the company may delay that match until after the upcoming TLC PPV.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Right now regarding Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal title, that match is scheduled to take place at some point, it could be TLC, but it’s leaning toward a later date.

Reigns vs Bryan could be a great Universal Title match for the Royal Rumble. I would love to see it. They have awesome chemistry and I am always down to see matches between them.

4) Who Produced Each Match At Survivor Series.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, here is who produced each match at the Survivor Series PPV:

— Michael Hayes produced Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns

— Tyson Kidd produced Asuka vs Sasha Banks

— Tyson Kidd and Pat Buck produced the Women’s Elimination match between RAW and Smackdown.

— Abyss produced the Men’s Elimination match between RAW and Smackdown.

— Pat Buck produced The New Day vs The Street Profits.

— Jason Jordan produced Sami Zayn vs Bobby Lashley.

— Adam Pearce produced the Battle Royal that took place on the kickoff show.

We always love finding out tidbits about who produced each match. Kidd seems to always produce the good Women’s matches and we appreciate him.

3) Another Update On Seth Rollins

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline says that Seth Rollins is not expected to appear on any more episodes of WWE television. This comes after he took part in the men’s elimination match at Survivor Series.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Last night was Seth Rollins last appearance until after Becky Lynch gives birth.

We feel like we could still see him showing up on Smackdown to get beat down by the rest of the men’s team from Survivor Series. This is because he ditched the team during the match and allowed himself to get eliminated. We will have to wait and see though.

2) Big Name Backstage At Survivor Series

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Edge was in attendance of Survivor Series but he did not make an appearance on-screen.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

WWE Hall of Famer Edge was backstage but did not appear on screen.

Our guess is that Edge wanted to pay tribute to The Undertaker, who he had many great matches against. We also hope this is a hint that Edge could be close to returning from his injury.

1) Drew McIntyre’s Next Feud

WWE officially confirmed a triple threat match for next week’s episode of RAW. It will be AJ Styles vs Keith Lee vs Riddle, with the winner facing Drew McIntyre at TLC for the WWE Championship. Could there be a swerve coming?

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline says he has heard that Styles, Lee, or Riddle won’t be the guy who faces McIntyre at the event.

Meltzer says that he has heard WWE will be doing McIntyre vs Braun Strowman at TLC instead:

Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE title is right now the scheduled main event for TLC on 12/20.

It is worth noting that Meltzer put this out before RAW went on air, so it could have been a mistake. While saying that, WWE started a storyline with Braun Strowman and Adam Pearce on RAW, which seems like it could lead to Strowman getting a title shot. We will have to wait and see but this is something to keep your eyes on over the next weeks or so.
