John Cena to be a part of Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match?
As per the Dirty Sheets Patreon page, Cena is scheduled to appear on the July 16 episode of Friday Night Smackdown. The same report suggests that he will be a part of the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. If that happens, it would be Cena’s second Money in the Bank ladder match.
Can Cena become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank?
Cena has been one of the most precious assets the company has ever had. He was the Mr. Money in the Bank 9 years back in 2012. However, after announcing an advance cash-in against the then WWE Champion CM Punk, Cena lost the bout courtesy of an interference Big Show leading the match to get disqualified.
If Cena manages to become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank, he could challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Summerslam pay-per-view.- This match is already rumored to take place at the biggest event of the summer. But if Cena challenges the Head of the Table by winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, it could add more solemnity to the build-up for the match.
