WWE SmackDown: 2 Title Matches Are Set For This Week’s SmackDown, Where To Watch SmackDown? Here’s All you Need To Know

This week’s WWE SmackDown is going to be bigger and better with two championship matches lined up. First, we will witness a Wrestlemania rematch between Apollo Crews and Big E for the Intercontinental Championship, followed by the Universal Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns.

WWE SmackDown Preview May 1- Apollo Crews (C) VS Big E for the Intercontinental Championship Match

The rivalry between Big E and the much improved Apollo Crews with Commander Azeez by his side is prospering for good. After claiming the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 37 in a Nigerian Drum Fight with the help of Commander Azeez, Apollo has looked imperious and focused. He looks strong, better than ever, and wants to stamp his authority among the big guns.

However, the Powerhouse Big E, after being robbed of his title at Wrestlemania, believes he deserves a rematch sooner rather than later. He made his intentions clear last week with a backstage attack on the champion. Will Crews manage to hold his title next week? It is going to be an intriguing affair.

The main event of this week’s SmackDown would be an ultimate showdown between two future Hall of Famers, Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns. The Head of the Table doesn’t want Daniel Bryan on what he calls his show (SmackDown), and therefore, he has laid out one final challenge to Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship with a twist.

The catch for this highly intense match is, if Daniel Bryan losses, he won’t show up on SmackDown ever again and has to either move to RAW, NXT or roll down curtains on his prolific in-ring career. The stakes are definitely high, which makes this match one of the most endearing ones in the recent memory of the Blue brand. Who will prevail in this ultimate clash of the titans? It remains interesting to see.
