WWE Smackdown: Cesaro returns! Brutally assaults and humiliates Seth Rollins

WWE Smackdown: One of the talking points of the night was the return of the Swiss Superman Cesaro. Seth Rollins was invited as a guest on Bayley’s talk show Ding Dong Hello. Seth was quite happy to appear on Bayley’s talk show, unlike last week, where he got interviewed by Kayla Braxton backstage.

The segment started with Seth praising Bayley for pulling off what she has done in the past few weeks against Bianca Belair. He particularly emphasized the laughing segment of Bayley from the last week. After Seth was done praising the host, Bayley rolled up video footage on the big screen that involved Seth Rollins, where the former WWE Champion assaulted Cesaro on Smackdown three weeks back.

After the clip ended, both Seth and Bayley got poised for 5-10 seconds before blasting into laughter. While the two were laughing, the doorbell rang. Being a nice guest, Seth opted to open the door. When he opened it, he was left shell shocked to see Cesaro on the other side.

Cesaro humiliated and assaulted Seth Rollins!

WWE Smackdown: As the door got opened, Cesaro took no time to ambush attack on the former WWE Champion. He started with a left fist on Seth’s face to take him down and slammed his head on the door and other properties in the ring. In the process, he also removed Seth’s pants and hit him with fierce strikes.

Once he was done humiliating Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair’s music hit & the Smackdown Women’s Champion came out. She stood on the aisle, looked into the face of Bayley, and started mocking the former champion by laughing at her. The segment ended with Bayley looking unamused and clueless, standing right in the middle of the ring. The segment was brilliant to set up a potential Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro at Hell in a Cell.
