WWE Smackdown- Smackdown Results: Edge and Seth Rollins lit up the Madison Square Garden arena with a spectacular pay-per-view-worthy match on tonight’s WWE Smackdown. The two men battled back & forth to display why they are the most sounded tactical wrestlers in pro wrestling today.
WWE Smackdown- Smackdown Results: The match had everything on display and forced the 14,000+ capacity crowd in Madison Square Garden to jump up in ecstasy and cheer for their favorite superstar. The entire bout was nothing short of phenomenal, however, the end wasn’t gratifying as Seth Rollins used his dirty tactics and hit Edge with a low-blow to pick up a victory.
WWE Smackdown: Edge’s resilience vs. Seth Rollins’ grit
Edge’s resilience was on display against Seth Rollins’ sheer grit. After escaping the wrath of crippler cross-face and holding on after getting hit by a mini-spear, Seth Rollins decided to go for a low-blow when the referee was unhinged.

What followed the low-blow was even more toxic. Seth mercilessly pounded Edge with three superkicks on the trot and finally stomped the legend to earn his first victory over him.
WWE Smackdown: Edge got stretched out of the arena
It was The Rated-R Superstar’s surgically repaired neck that got damaged by the vicious stomp. Therefore, he was taken out on a stretcher by the medical personnel. Edge was senseless while he got stretched out from the arena. WWE authority figures Sonya Deville & Adam Pearce, along with Edge’s best friend Rey Mysterio, escorted him to the Ambulance.

This is perhaps the best way WWE could have booked the two Stalwarts Edge & Seth Rollins in a storyline. The Kayfabe injury of Edge may put him on a hiatus until October or November so that he could return for a final showdown against Seth Rollins at perhaps the Crown Jewel event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or at the Survivor Series PPV.
