WWE SmackDown Full Show, Predictions, Confirmed Match card, Results, Live Updates, Highlights & Commentary online from tonight’s SmackDown – 09th October, 2020

WWE Smackdown: Tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown is a very special edition because it is going to mark the start of the 2020 WWE draft. So, yes, it will be interesting to see which WWE Superstars remain on RAW and which of them end up on WWE SmackDown. Plus, the lineup is so stacked that it almost feels like a pay-per-view event. So, let’s have a look at the SmackDown card, and run down the matches to see what’s in store for us.

Kevin Owens vs. The Fiend

This is an actual dream match between two former Universal Champions, based on problems that began when Kevin Owens invited Alexa Bliss to the Kevin Owens Show, where he was attacked by The Fiend. Kevin Owen’s character has been stuck in limbo for a really long time and this feud with The Fiend could really revive his gimmick.

Bayley vs. Sasha Banks

Many assumed that this match would happen inside Hell in a Cell, considering the build, but the fact of the matter is that it is happening next week on SmackDown. Will Sasha Banks be able to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship and embark on a long reign as Champion? Or does Bayley have a trick or two up her sleeve to retain her Championship once again?

Sheamus vs. Big E

Based on the history between these two big and brawny men, WWE has stipulated that a Falls Count Anywhere match will be happening on SmackDown this week. Expect this match to be a slugfest as two of WWE SmackDown’s powerhouses battle all over the location.

Otis defends himself in court

It’s very hard to write a preview for this segment, except for the fact that because Otis is defending himself, this segment is guaranteed to be very entertaining indeed and also, that there is a big chance that Otis loses his Money in the Bank contract during this segment to either Miz or Morrison.

The 2020 WWE Draft begins

The brand split may have been diluted at the moment, with RAW stars ending up on SmackDown and vice versa, but who ends up where will finally be decided on the following episode of SmackDown and the subsequent RAW episode.
