WWE Smackdown Match Card: The 16-time World Champion John Cena will be returning to the Blue brand but nothing has been added to WWE Smackdown Match Card, as of yet. Cena, who is busy in the premiere of his upcoming flick “The Suicide Squad,” will be on the Blue brand next week to address the Universal Championship conundrum between him, Roman Reigns, and Finn Balor.

WWE Smackdown Match Card: Cena chants were audible in Tampa on the last week show

In the main event of last week’s WWE Smackdown, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, along with his cousins Jimmy & Jey- The Usos, assaulted Finn Balor in ambush. The 3 on 1 attack on the former Universal Champion proved too violent as the crowd in attendance started chanting Cena! Cena! in anticipation to see the 16-time World Champion come out and save Balor.

WWE Smackdown Match Card: The current scenario for the Universal Championship has become far more interesting

John Cena has signed the official contract to face Roman Reigns at WWE Summerslam for the Universal Championship. The two men have been announced for the Biggest Event of the Summer, but it seems like Finn Balor is the new ink on the sheet.

We could be up for an epic triple-threat match at WWE Summerslam involving Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Finn Balor. The scenario could be almost the same as what happened at Wrestlemania 37 when Daniel Bryan, Edge, and Roman Reigns competed for the title. It could be a spoiler as of now, but in the direction this storyline is moving, a triple-threat match looks a certain possibility.
