WWE Smackdown Match Card- Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor: Tonight’s Summerslam fallout edition of Friday Night Smackdown was closed with Roman Reigns’ Bloodline Championship celebration that got interrupted by Finn Balor. The segment saw Finn confronting the Universal Champion and challenging him to put the title on the line next week. Before Roman could have answered, Balor laid an attack on him and The Usos only to get triple-teamed by The Bloodline until The Street Profits came rushing out to save Balor.
WWE Smackdown Match Card: Balor vs. Roman was already in plans
PWInsider has reported that there has been word going around that Finn Balor is the first runner-up to face Roman Reigns and be his next victim. The two can even face each other at WWE Extreme Rules PPV so that Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar could take place in October at Crown Jewel or Survivor Series PPV on November 21.
WWE Smackdown Match Card: How this match could turn out?
Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor next week on Smackdown could see a three-on-one assault with The Usos and Roman Reigns teaming up to beat the hell out of Finn Balor.- This could lead to both men facing each other at Extreme Rules PPV, scheduled for September 26.
As far as Brock Lesnar is concerned, expect him to not challenge Roman until the latter is done glorifying himself over Finn Balor. However, the glimpse of Paul Heyman’s angle will continue on Friday Nights which could play a major part in Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns’ storyline moving ahead.
