King Corbin and Shinsuke Nakamura were scheduled to face off on tonight’s episode. A frustrated King Corbin made his way to the ring first. He was pissed off because Shinsuke Nakamura stole his crown last week on WWE Smackdown.

Corbin called out Nakamura, but before the King of Strong Style arrived, out came Boogs and started playing his guitar. He first introduced himself and then introduced Nakamura by nailing the guitar for Shinsuke’s as the entrance music of the King of Strong Style started playing.

In the closing moments of the bout, Boogs played his guitar, which distracted Corbin. Nakamura quickly made the most of the distraction and scored a roll-up pin over Corbin, leaving him even miffed in the middle of the ring. With this win, Nakamura has certainly got the winning momentum back.

Who is Rick Boogs?

For those who don’t know, Boogs has been associated with the WWE since 2017. He has made some televised appearances on NXT but never used as a regular. Mostly he has worked in NXT Live events, and his latest appearance on the Live event came prior to the pandemic on March 7, 2020, where he defeated Tino Sabbatelli.

As of now, he is the latest acquisition on the Blue brand and is expected to accompany Shinsuke Nakamura in the near future as well. It would be interesting to see what Boogs does next.
