WWE Smackdown Preview: Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar announced for the night

Both Becky Lynch & Brock Lesnar made a surprising return last Saturday at the Summerslam PPV. Lynch’s return was more or less expected after rumors made rounds of Sasha’s absence for the PPV event. She showed up in the Smackdown Women’s Championship bout and challenged Bianca Belair to defend her title. Bianca accepted the challenge only to get hit with a Manhandle Slam and lose her title in just 11 seconds.

On the other hand, Brock Lesnar literally emerged out of the blues. Ahead of the PPV event, many rumors indicated that Brock Lesnar isn’t booked for Summerslam. However, the Beast Incarnate showed up with a massive pop after the main event of the night that saw Roman Reigns defeating John Cena to retain the Universal Title.

WWE Smackdown Preview: Lesnar made his way to the ring with a perplexed smile and confronted Roman Reigns. The Beast Incarnate’s return may be accountable to the fact of CM Punk’s AEW debut a night before Summerslam. This must-have forced Vince McMahon to call one of his most popular stars, and the amount of ovation he received in the jam-packed Allegiant Stadium spoke volumes of his aura.

Brock Lesnar is all set to appear on this week’s Friday Night Smackdown, and it would be interesting to see how he takes things all by himself with his former advocate Paul Heyman, not by his side.
