WWE Smackdown Results July 10, 2020: Top 5 moments which made today’s episode special

WWE Smackdown Results: This week’s Friday night SmackDown Live was full of drama and suspense. As it kicked off with MizTV where Jeff Hardy was the special guest with the Miz and John Morrison, but this advertising did not last too long as after the thrash round of words on Hardy which made him to take on Miz and his John Morrison. Jeff Hardy set up a match against the Miz during this battle he was distracted by Sheamus on the big screen but somehow Hardy managed and got the victory over the Miz. But the confirmation of Sheamus and Hardy’s match for The Horror Show at Extreme Rules is still on hold.


Moreover, we had Smackdown’s tag team championship match on the line. AJ Styles chooses his next opponent for Intercontinental Championship clash next week on SmackDown Live.

5). Naomi Def. Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans vs Tamina (Karaoke Showdown)


It was one of the most entertaining and funniest segments in this week’s SmackDown Live. The four women’s took part in Karaoke Showdown which was hosted by Jey Uso. Song choices included Evans singing “With My Baby Tonight,” Brooke singing “Honky Tonk Man,” Tamina singing “The Game” and Naomi performing “Common Man Boogie.” Brooke was cut off quickly, as was Tamina. Naomi won the competition by way of fan reaction.


4). Bayley & Sasha Banks def. Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss via pinfall:


SmackDown Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley took on against the team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a non-title match. After defeating their opponents in today’s match the champions once again proved why they deserve to be favourite for the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. Now it will very challenge for their respective opponents to beat the champions in a separate match at the next event. And Sasha Banks and Bayley with this made it clear they are ready to end the night a winning nite at Extreme Rules.


3) Jeff Hardy Def. The Miz


Jeff Hardy was invited on MizTV as a special guest which was also joined by Miz’s Co. John Morrison. After the duo decided to taunt Hardy for his current rivalry with Sheamus with Hardy found insulting for asking same rhetoric questions again and again. Hardy then set up a match against the Miz joined by John Morrison outside the ring. It was pure chaos as Hardy went up top to hit the Swanton Bomb, John Morrison pulled Miz out of the ring to make the save. During this match, Hardy was distracted by Sheamus on the big screen who did not appear on the show for the last two weeks. However, Hardy got the victory over the Miz. But his match with Sheamus at the Horror Show at Extreme Rules is still on hang.


2). AJ Styles chooses his opponent for his Intercontinental Championship


‘The Phenomenal one’ AJ Styles once again chooses his opponent to defend his Intercontinental Championship next week on SmackDown Live. It was Matt Riddle who already defeated Styles in a non-title match last month and kicked off his Smackdown career. After successfully defended his title against Drew Gulak last week on SmackDown Styles will be on driver seat once again to beat Riddle on the following SmackDown segment next week. This match could be the main event before The Horror Show at Extreme Rules where nothing is sure at the moment who will hold the title at this event. But so far there are chances that Phenomenal one has the upper hand to retain it but Riddle’s surprise can take it away.


1). New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro ended in a no contest:


The main event on this week’s Smackdown Live was the tag team championship match between The New Day up against Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura. The four men initially went into a brawl as a result of referee rung the bell with no winner. But the show did not end here as Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura put them on the tables and gave them a little taste before the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. Now the current situation suggests that it would be tabled match for the tag team championship match at this PPV.
