WWE Smackdown: WWE Smackdown is all set to welcome the 16-time World Champion, John Cena. The Leader of the Cenation will be making his emphatic return on the Blue brand after January 2020 and will confront the Universal Champion, John Cena. 

Apart from Cena, the Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will defend her title at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in Miami in a rematch from the last week against Carmella. Also, Toni Storm will make her main roster debut this week, and there have been rumors that the lady from Gold Coast, Australia, will be a babyface and boost the women’s roster on the Blue brand. 

Besides the announced segments and match, below are three events that could take place this Friday Night.

WWE Smackdown: Sasha Banks return and confront Bianca Belair

It’s been long overdue for the Boss, Sasha Banks. Every now and then, we hear the news of Sasha nearing a return, but all those news turn into rumors. However, with the Blue brand on the path to kickstart the build-up for WWE Summerslam, expect Sasha Banks to return and confront Bianca Belair after her match against Carmella.

Sasha Banks has not been seen on WWE TV since losing the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Biana Belair at Wrestlemania 37. Upon her return, she will be going after the title, and what better place than Summerslam could be for Sasha Banks to get her rematch against Belair. Therefore, expect Sasha Banks to return once and for all this Friday Night.

WWE Smackdown: Otis vs. Cesaro

Otis and Chad Gable are on a path of destruction. They have destroyed and annihilated everyone in their path, starting from Montez Ford. Last week, it was the Swiss Superman Cesaro who fall prey to Otis’ destruction.

After what transpired last week between Otis & Cesaro, expect the Swiss Superman to go one-on-one against the heavyweight and get some sort of revenge. Otis vs. Cesaro this week is expected to take place.

WWE Smackdown: Seth Rollins and Edge’s brawl

Edge is furious. He indeed is. Seth Rollins cost Edge his maiden Universal Title when he interfered in Edge’s match at Money in the Bank PPV against Roman Reigns. After what transpired at the PPV event, expect the Rated-R Superstar to hunt down Seth Rollins this Friday night.

An altercation, a staredown, a backstage brawl, etc., Everything is possible between these two individuals as their build-up for a possible match at WWE Summerslam will be one of the most intriguing ones in recent history.
