WWE Smackdown: Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox also made their main roster debut tonight
In the past three weeks, we have seen three huge returns on the Blue brand. First, it was a shocking return of the Rated-R Superstar Edge, who came out of nowhere and annihilated the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The following week, Sonya Deville announced the return of Zelina Vega, who was released from the company earlier this year, citing budget cuts. Vega not only returned but became the second woman from the Blue brand to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Tonight, there was another surprise in the form of Shotzi Black & Tegan Nox, who made their main roster debut as a tag team.

Shotzi Blackheart was a popular face on the Black & Gold brand, and her main roster push was sooner or later expected. Meanwhile, Tegan Nox got sidelined in August 2020 with a torn ACL injury. She made a surprise return last week on NXT Great American Bash, costing Candice LeRae her Tag-Team Championship match against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. Nox was expected to have a feud with her bitter rival Candice LeRae on WWE NXT, but the plans seem to have changed.
Talking about Toni Storm, her addition to the Blue brand will boost the already reeling and struggling Smackdown’s women roster. A heel or a babyface? What gimmick will she come up with? It would be interesting to see.
