WWE Smackdown: Finn Balor was put under the pump last week on WWE Smackdown by the trio of Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso. The 3 on 1 assault was way too much for The Prince to go through.
Finn Balor has been lurking for an opportunity to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Summerslam or whatever juncture he could. Finn actually deserves to face Roman after the latter accepted his challenge for a Universal Match three weeks back on WWE Smackdown.
WWE Smackdown: What to expect from Finn Balor this week?
After getting pounded at the hands of The Usos and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Finn Balor will be lurking around Roman to get his hands on the Universal Champion. Roman will be facing John Cena at WWE Summerslam as of now, but it seems like Finn desperately wants to spoil the party of either of the two at the PPV event.
John Cena is also scheduled to return this week after not showing up last week on the Blue brand. After signing the contract two weeks back, Cena can now have a face-to-face segment with Roman Reigns for the build-up of their match at Summerslam. No segment regarding Cena has been announced yet for this week. However, one should expect the two men to confront each other. If this segment happens, Finn Balor might intervene to get his hands on the Tribal Chief, and a brawl could erupt where we could see John Cena and Finn Balor forming forces to humble the Universal Champion.
All this could happen in the last half an hour of the show, and surprisingly the WWE authority figures Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce could be forced to make the Universal Championship at WWE Summerslam a triple-threat bout with Finn as the third competitor. Possibilities are endless, and we could not wait for yet another thrilling edition of WWE Smackdown.
