WWE Smackdown: Will John Cena appear this week on Smackdown? The 16-time World Champion will be appearing this Friday Night on WWE Smackdown live from the Madison Square Garden arena. Although Cena is nowhere to be seen in the next week’s promo of the Blue brand, but as per his schedule, he is scheduled for an appearance at Madison Square Garden, and it might be his last appearance in WWE for this month.

Cena was previously scheduled to team up with Rey & Dominik Mysterio to take on The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & The Usos). However, as per the latest report generated by PWInsider, the 16-time World Champion will now team up with The Street Profits and face the trio of Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso in a dark match after the show will go off the air.

As per PWInsider, the local advertising for the Madison Square Garden’s WWE Smackdown shows Cena teaming up with The Street Profits instead of The Mysterios.

“Local advertising tonight during Monday Night Raw lists John Cena as teaming with The Street Profits against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos in the main event of this Friday’s WWE Super Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Cena was initially advertised as teaming with Rey and Dominik Mysterio. MSG’s official website has also be updated to reflect The Street Profits’ appearance in the match.”

Irrespective of what transpired with John Cena at Summerslam, he will be appearing this Friday Night on WWE Smackdown. Yes, he has been booked for a dark match, but that doesn’t mean that the Leader of Cenation won’t appear in the televised programming. There are numerous possibilities of how Cena goes by his things, and we might get a sporadic view of what could be next for the 16-time World Champion in WWE.
