Being one of the top stars in the industry, not having him competing at WWE Summerslam 2021 sounds a bit eerie. Previously, it was reported that the 14-time World Champion would be returning to the Allstate Arena in Chicago on August 2, but it turned out to be just a rumor.

Neither WWE nor Randy have commented on the current status of The Viper. With WWE Summerslam 2021 less than three weeks away, everyone is waiting for Randy’s arrival so that he could start a feud with AJ Styles & Omos heading into the PPV event.

Also, Riddle has been battling a lone battle against AJ Styles & Omos for quite a few weeks. Last Monday night, he collided with Omos and managed to show some resilience until the big man got the better of him. The live fans in attendance expected Randy to come out and help Riddle win the match, but nothing of that sort happened.
