WWE Summerslam: Stephanie McMahon has huge plans to make Summerslam a colossal affair

WWE Summerslam

WWE Summerslam: WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has promised something big for the WWE Summerslam PPV slated for August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Triple H, Stephanie, and Vince McMahon are among the building blocks of WWE, and of late, they have been focusing on making Summerslamd the biggest event of this year.

Stephanie recently sat with Yahoo Finance for an interview where she talked about the recent WWE layoffs and the challenges the company came across during the pandemic. Talking about the recent layoffs, she said,

Like a lot of media companies, we’re in the process of transition and evolution. When you consider the fact that we had three different media teams doing the same work, we realized there was a lot of duplication and Inefficiency. It’s being more prudent business people and looking at our business in a different way.”

Summerslam would also be the third PPV this year, with live audiences in attendance. Wrestlemania 37 took place with almost 40,000 people comprising both nights, and the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV, scheduled for July 18, will take place at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
