WWE Summerslam: Boxing legend Mike Tyson was reportedly approached by WWE to help with this year’s WWE Summerslam content. WWE was willing to have him on board to do voice-over work for the SummerSlam opening video package, which will be focused on the main event of the night between the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and John Cena.
According to PWINsider, WWE failed to lock the Boxing Great, and there is also no word on who will be narrating the opening montage for the PPV event.

Mike Tyson is a living legend and has grown up as a pro wrestling fan. He has appeared in WWE in 1998 for the build-up of Wrestlemania 14. He worked as the special enforcer in the main event of the epic PPV that saw Stone Cold Steve Austin defeating Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship title.
His second appearance for the company came in 2010 on WWE Raw, where he served as a guest host and teamed up with Chris Jericho to square off against DX. The match saw him turning on Chris Jericho and uniting with DX.

Besides WWE, Mike Tyson also made an appearance at All Elite Wrestling in 2020. He appeared at the Double or Nothing show and helped Cody Rhodes defeat Lance Archer. After Cody’s win, he presented him with the inaugural TNT Title.
Mike Tyson’s second appearance for the company came on May 27, 2020, at the AEW Dynamite episode where he had had other fighters by his side, and they had a face-off against the Inner Circle. He made two other appearances on AEW Dynamite on April 7 and 14 in 2020.
