Xtreme1 Racing League appoints Ravi Krishnan as chairman

Franchisee-based Xtreme1 Racing League (X1 Racing League) has appointed Ravi Krishnan as the Chairman (Non-Executive). The appointment has come into effective in May 2019.

Commenting on his appointment, X1 Racing League co-founder Armaan Ebrahim, “We are delighted to welcome Ravi in our young family. His immense experience and strategic skills will help the league get future ready in a fast-evolving motorsports landscape. Ravi has built IPs in sports, lifestyle, and entertainment which are premier properties in the country today and we except his leadership to take us to similar heights.”

Ravi Krishnan is a key and prominent name in the business of sports, entertainment, and media in India. He is a pioneer in India’s sports management business, leading global sports and media group IMG to establish a foothold in the country back in 1995. As Managing Director of IMG, Ravi was instrumental in creating properties such as the Sahara Cup, The Aircel Chennai Open, Lakme India Fashion Week and many more noteworthy events in India.
