ZIM vs BAN: Mahmudullah considers retirement from Test cricket; Reports- Bangladesh-star allrounder Mahmudullah has decided to take retirement from Test cricket. He made the announcement shortly after the end of Day 3 of the one-off Test against Zimbabwe in Harare, as per reports. Mahmudullah is playing the 50th Test match of his career. He has scored 2914 runs in 94 inns at an average of 33 with the help of 5 tons. The 35-year-old has taken 43 wickets in the longest format.

“This is the right time to hang up my whites, this is going to be my last Test,” Mahmudullah said at the team meeting before the start of day three’s play as quoted by bdcrictime.com

Mahmudullah will continue to play limited-overs format- ODIs and T20Is.
